Description
Elephant Heart is a cultivar of plum. A delicious large plum with heart shaped fruit that is coloured a deep purple-red both inside and out. The free-stone fruit ripens about February. Surplus fruit will freeze or bottle well. Pollinate with Santa Rosa or Sultan. Protect from late spring frosts. Deciduous. Matures to around 5 m tall by 3 m wide.
